Highly skilled in non-surgical treatment of spine disorders and musculoskeletal problems, Dr. George Charuk treats a variety of pain-causing conditions, including disc herniations, degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis and facet arthopathy. His conservative approach to pain management is built around non-surgical techniques and includes medication, physical therapy, epidural steroid injection or visco-supplementation.
Dr. Charuk also has considerable expertise in electromyography to ensure proper diagnosis of carpal tunnel syndrome, peripheral neuropathy or nerve root impingement
A frequent speaker on a number of spine-related topics, including paralysis and traumatic injury, Dr. Charuk is also proud to have served as physician for several Olympic events for disabled athletes.
