George S. Miz, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Since 1985, Dr. George Miz has collaborated with his partner, Dr. David Smith, in treating the spectrum of spinal pathologies. His practice focuses on helping patients who have de-generative spinal conditions - which often means applying breakthrough techniques. For example, Dr. Miz was one of the first surgeons in the area to enroll in clinical trials that now allow him to perform artificial disc replacement, an innovative treatment for de-generative disc disease.

He is also experienced in treating herniated discs, spine deformities, sciatica, trauma, tumors, and other spinal conditions--all with a conservative approach that minimizes risk. Taking full advantage of minimally invasive techniques, Dr. Miz works to facilitate faster recoveries while providing each patient with the comprehensive care they deserve.
